Brittni Bean is the Head Coach of the Dallas Baptist University Patriettes. Coach Bean attended DBU as a student-athlete from 2011-2015, and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Founded in 2011, Coach Bean had the unique opportunity to dance on the inaugural team and continued to dance through her senior year. For her last two years, Brittni served as the team captain.

Growing up, Bean trained for 10 years at Dancin' Bluebonnets Dance Studio in The Woodlands, Texas under the direction of Pam Reich. Over the course of those 10 years, her studio participated and won numerous championships at the national level.

Under Coach Bean’s leadership the Patriettes program has garnered more respect and attention through success seen at the local and national level in the last five years. In 2018 & 2019, the Patriettes placed in the top 3 at the National Dance Association’s National Competition in Daytona Beach, Florida. In 2018, the Patriettes took home first place at the ADTS Collegiate Championship in Denton, Texas.

Bean is a member of the National Dance Coaches Association and continues to train as a dancer and teacher for the program each year.

Most importantly, Bean became a Christian in 2010 and has a tremendous passion for discipleship and seeing her dancers grow in their faith as well as their dance abilities. Coach Bean, her husband, Zach, and their daughter Brynlee all attend and serve at Watermark Community Church.
