Lauren Nicks, as released by the conference office today has received Heartland Conference Player of the Week honors for her play against Texas A&M International, Angelo State, and St. Mary's University during the week of October 19 - October 24. This is the second time this year Nicks has been named Libero of the Week by the Heartland Conference.

Libero of the Week, The Lady Patriots played three matches in three days over the week in which Lauren Nicks had match highs in all three contests. The freshman from Arlington, TX registered 24 digs against Texas A&M International, 32 digs versus Angelo State, and 23 digs against St. Mary's. Nicks also averaged 6.6 digs per set during the week.

DBU returns to action this Tuesday, October 27, as they face Texas Woman's University at the Burg Center. First serve is set for 6 pm.
