DBU junior Joaquin Arguelles was named the Heartland Conference Men's Golf of the Week, as announced by the conference office today.  Arguelles finished in second place at the Arbor Hotels Classic in Lubbock, Texas, after carding a 2-under par, 214, and helped lift the Patriots to a second place team finish in a field of 15 teams. Over the course of three rounds, Arguelles finished with 14 birdies.

Today's announcement marks the third time in Arguelles' career that he has garnered Heartland Conference Golfer of the Week honors and the first time this season.

Arguelles and the Patriots return to action on March 12-13 when they travel to Amarillo, Texas, for the Super Region Preview.
