DALLAS – The Men's Soccer Team for Dallas Baptist concludes its six-game home stand on Monday versus Rogers State University at 12 pm. This conference matchup also marks the final contest to be played this season at Patriots Soccer Field. The Patriots (5-8, 3-3) have gone 2-3 on this stretch, but have won two of its last three. DBU has ensured finishing with a higher winning percentage after breaking last season's four overall win total in the inaugural year of the program on Saturday.    
 
LAST MATCH – DBU earned a 3-2 victory on Senior Night and was able to withstand another tough offensive attack by Newman University. The Jets outshot Dallas Baptist 23-20, but the Patriots placed more shots on goal 12-9.
 
Junior David Balyeat's header a couple minutes in the second half off a corner kick from sophomore Brian Robertson eventually counted as the game-winner for the Patriots. Balyeat remains second on the team scoring his fifth goal, but also matches his personal best in a season.
 
Freshmen Seth Elliott and Chris Lofton also accounted for the other DBU goals, counting for their second and first goals of the season, respectively.
 
Sophomore Chuck Schober returned as the starting keeper after missing two starts, and allowed two goals while saving seven shot attempts.
 
SCOUTING ROGERS STATE – RSU (5-8-1, 3-4) won on Saturday defeating Oklahoma Christian 3-1 and snapping a two-game slide. The Hillcats received goals from Niall Masterson, Dylan Beaird, and Garron Hayes in the victory.
 
Mitchell Penton earned his first win in the net and tallied three saves. Despite being outshot 18-10 by the Eagles, RSU was able to capitalize on opportunities.
 
Neither team faced each other last year.
