THE RUNDOWNThe Dallas Baptist Volleyball team opened up their final three game home stand in a win in straight sets over the Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggies.
Erika Papadeas and
Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick both had a match high seven kills, while
Kaycie Bird had a match high 17 assists.
Opening up the first set the Lady Patriots would jump out to a 9-2 lead on the Aggies, off the strength of a six point run . DBU would go onto widen the gap against OPSU at 15-5. With the score at 16-9, the Lady Patriots would rally to score nine of the next 12 points and win the first set , 25-12. Â
In the second set DBU grabbed an early 10-2 lead, and didn't look back. The Lady Patriots would allow only four more points from the Aggies as they would go onto put together multiple three and four point streaks, even at one point during the set scoring six straight points. Ending the set 25-6, DBU would take a 2-0 set lead.   Â
The final set of the night was not close as the Lady Patriots had total control from the beginning. The Lady Patriots would win the set, 25-6 winning the match 3-0.Â
