Michael Andrews tallied a header for his first collegiate goal. His classmate, Schwartz, delivered a pass across the net from the far right side to put the home squad up. Both debuted with two points and joined Lacy to form a trio that notch that total in the opener.
The advantage would be erased at the 62:42 mark, as Dylan Sherrill maneuvered past the defense for a solid shot that found the back of the net.
It was the lone blemish on an otherwise solid night from sophomore
Mason Stringer (1-0). The native of Burleson, Texas collected four saves between the pipes in 90 minutes as he collected his fourth career win.
The Patriots had a few more opportunities in the second half, attempting seven shots compared to five in the frame. Lacy's golden goal with five minutes remaining was the difference on an overall solid team outing.

UP NEXTDallas Baptist returns to the pitch on Saturday for an 11 AM contest versus Colorado Christian University at Patriot Soccer Field. The Patriots will embark on a five-game road trip, one of two on the campaign, following the home affair.
