THE RUNDOWNThe Dallas Baptist Lady Patriot Volleyball Team swept the Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggies 3-0 to get their first win of the season and in Heartland Conference play.
Tiara Iwegbu led the way for DBU with 16 points and 10 kills.
DBU maintained a large lead through the majority of the first set, at one point even going on a 9 point streak and leading by as many as 11 points, cruising to a 25-16 victory. DBU's success continued in the second set as they were able to put together consecutive streaks of four and five points, to keep OPSU at bay defeating the Aggies 25-18.
To wrap up the third set, the Lady Patriots jumped out to an early 7-3 lead, which would ultimately end with DBU finishing off OPSU 25-15.       Â
