COACH MICHELLE LENARD – ON CHANGES AFFECTING THE GAME"We are happy to get a positive result after having to go off campus and to play on turf. These are not things that we had necessarily prepared for this week. With the weather and having to make the adjustments, I'm happy to see the girls come out and play at a level that gets us a good win."
DEFENDER MACKENZIE RICE – ON DEFENSIVE SUCCESS"I think we've just been communicating well back there. We work as a team, and people in the middle are making it easy on us to get the ball ahead."
FORWARD ASHLEY COX – ON KEYS TO OFFENSE"We definitely wanted to focus on our runs again, on and off the ball. We wanted to make sure we used the outsides. They were giving us a lot of space down the sides, and we wanted to make sure we got around them. It definitely worked today."
IN THE NUMBERS5 – DBU reached 10 regular season wins for the fifth consecutive season.
10 – The Patriots fired off ten shots in the first half alone, compared to UTPB's three.
4 – DBU converted four unassisted goals against the Falcons.
