Brooks Friedman ignited Dallas Baptist to a 3-1 win over Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday. In front of a crowd of 314 at Patriot Soccer Field, Friedman netted two unassisted goals in the 65th and 78th minutes to break a 1-1 tie. DBU improves to 2-0-1 on the season and OBU's record falls to 0-3-0.

Michalin Dennie put the Patriots on the board first with a finish off a cross from junior forward
Riley Alvey. The Bison leveled the score early in the second half when junior midfielder Kervy Robles put one past DBU goalkeeper
Mason Stringer in the 48th minute. Stringer finished the game with five saves that preserved the Patriots' victory.
