THE LEAD
Dallas Baptist fell to No. 17 Angelo State 3-1 on Thursday after a three-goal second half erased a 1-0 Patriot lead at halftime. DBU falls to 2-2-1 with the loss and the Rams improved to 3-0-1.
 
Senior Lindsey Eccles scored her first goal of the season and 16^th of her career in the 22^nd minute to give the Patriots a 1-0 lead. ASU midfielder Haley Mendel, the Rams' leading goal-scorer, netted her fourth of the season in the 67^th minute to level the score.
 
Angelo State forwards Tiffany Dang and Demi Tsambasis scored in the 80^th and 83^rd minutes, respectively, to give the Rams the lead.
 
IN THE NUMBERS
2 – Eccles' 16^th career goal is tied for second on the active roster behind Ashley Cox (26).
