The No. 24 Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team fell to No. 15 St. Edward's, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon at Lewis-Chen Family Field in Austin, Texas. The loss snaps a six-game win streak by the Patriots that vaulted them into the top-25.
Libby Fish netted the first goal for the Hilltoppers off a Sabrina Cone corner kick in the 14th minute, and Gracen Jacks tacked on the second goal in the 75th minute after Jennifer Boudreau's shot was deflected by goalkeeper
Hope Koym. Koym made seven saves in the match.
THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The last time DBU lost two straight games to the Hilltoppers came at the end of the 2014 season.
