THE LEADNo. 29 DBU fell to Baylor 19-6 in the series finale on Saturday at Horner Ballpark. The Bears hit three homeruns against the Patriots pitching staff to fuel the high-scoring affair.

Drew Tolson (2-1) earned the win for the Bears, tossing six innings and giving up four runs on eight hits.
Sean Stutzman (2-1) suffered the loss after allowing eight runs on seven hits in the first two innings.

The Bears put up three runs in the opening inning, thanks to a three-run blast from Aaron Dodson. The Patriots responded in the bottom of the first with a pair of RBI singles by
Darick Hall and
Camden Duzenack to trim the lead to one. Josh Bissonette hit a second homerun for the Bears in the top of the second to extend the lead to two runs. Â

Baylor tacked on six runs in the third inning, fueled by five straight hits to lead-off the inning, forcing
MD Johnson to come in for relief of Stutzman. DBU answered the Bears again in the bottom of the third with a leadoff homerun by
David Martinelli.

The Patriots added another run on a single by
Jameson Hannah that knocked in
Austin Listi. Baylor regained a double-digit lead in the seventh on a pair of RBI singles by Darryn Sheppard and Dodson. The Bears added to the margin with a three-run ninth, highlighted by a two-run single by Levi Gilcrease.
Darick Hall added a solo homerun in the bottom of the ninth to produce
