DBU Drops 1-0 Decision to Ouachita

THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Soccer team lost its first game of the season 1-0 to Ouachita Baptist in Texarkana, Texas. Tinashe Chigede, the Tigers' leading scorer from 2016, opened the scoring in 2017 with a header across the net in the 14th minute. Blaine Hickman picked up the assist on Chigede's goal.

The Patriots outshot Ouachita 19-17 and only allowed 2 shots on goal. DBU forced Tiger goalkeeper Edward Pacheco to make 5 saves in the contest. A potential game-tying shot by Ethan Martinez hit the post in the 86th minute.

DBU HEAD COACH CHIP DUTCHIK ON HIS TEAM'S EFFORT
