THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Soccer team (4-3-1. 1-2-1 Heartland Conference) lost 2-1 to Lubbock Christian (3-5, 2-2).

After giving up the game's first goal in the 62nd minute, the Patriots tied it in the 84th with a goal by Travis Whitt on a free kick far outside the 18'. Two minutes later, however, Louis Callaghan scored his second goal of the day to give the Chaps the lead for good.



THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
 - Whitt is the eighth different Patriot to score a goal this year.

 - Ryan Anderson extended his streak of games started to 64. He has started every game of his DBU career.

 - After picking up its first road win Thursday, DBU fell to 1-2 in games played away from Patriot Soccer Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
15 - The Patriots outshot the Chaps 15-13, but LCU had more shots on goal, recording seven shots on net to DBU's five.

4 - Ethan Martinez once again led the Patriots in shot attempts with four. He has more than twice as many shot attempts as any of his teammates.

.333 - Whitt's shooting percentage is now .333 for the season. He is second on the team to Garrett Morgan. who is shooting .375.
