THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Soccer team (6-3-1. 3-2-1 Heartland Conference) earned its second straight shutout Saturday with a 2-0 win over Rogers State (5-4-1, 2-2-1)Â at Patriot Soccer Field.
Jacob Garcia opened the scoring with his first goal of the year in the 65th minute.
Travis Whitt picked up his second assist of the season on Garcia's goal.
Ethan Martinez added the insurance goal in the 83rd minute on an assist from
Ryan Anderson.
Sean Bouland saved all four shots on goal to earn his second consecutive shutout.

 - The shutout was DBU's fifth of the season.

Ryan Anderson extended his streak of games started to 66. He has started every game of his DBU career.
 - At 5-1-1 in games played at Patriot Soccer Field, DBU is one win away from matching its total of home victories from 2016.
