Patriots Roll in Big Win Over Paul Quinn

THE RUNDOWN
No. 23 DBU extended its home winning streak to 18 games with a 98-51 victory Wednesday against Paul Quinn College at the Burg Center. The Patriots led for all but 31 seconds of the game as they improved to 13-2.

DBU continued its trend of locking down opposing three-point shooters, as PQC was 1-13 from beyond the arc. The Patriots made 10 of 27 threes, including seven of 13 in the second half.

Brayden Harris and Conner Lidiak led the Patriots with 18 points each. Chandler Jacobs added 13, and Justin Lovvorn put up a career-high 12 points.

THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Every Patriot who saw the floor scored at least two points.
- DBU's 98 points were the most it had scored at home this season.
- The Patriots' 47-point margin of victory was the largest of the 2016-17.

DBU HEAD COACH BLAKE FLICKNER ON GETTING EXTRA MINUTES FOR HIS BENCH

"It's really fun when everybody gets a chance to play and everybody gets a chance to score. Especially in the springtime, you don't get many opportunities to get a break in the conference schedule. I thought the guys responded well. They stayed focused, they didn't take our opponent lightly, and came in and executed the game plan."

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
.630 - The Patriot post players dominated on the offensive end, combining to shoot 17-27 from the floor, highlighted by Brayden Harris' 8-10 performance.
.209 - Opponents are shooting .209 (18-86) from distance in the past four games against DBU after posting a .457 three-point percentage in the previous four games. The Tigers were 1-13 beyond the arc, the fewest made threes the Patriots have allowed in a game this year.
30 - DBU's 30 assists were a season high.
