Monday, November 12, 2018
6:30 p.m.  Float Tip-Off Party and Faculty/Staff Chili Cook-Off (The Quad)
Greek Life Organizations begin building their floats on the Quad. What better way to kick off Homecoming Week than by roasting marshmallows, sipping on some hot chocolate, and help DBU decide which Faculty or Staff member has the best chili recipe while listening to music and working on the floats!

10:00 a.m.  Homecoming Chapel (Patty & Bo Pilgrim Chapel Sanctuary)
Join DBU in a time of worship and find out who the Homecoming Court nominees are for this year.
 
7:00 p.m.  Pepsi Break (The Quad)
Come stock up on some more food and get a boost of energy by grabbing, of course, a Pepsi (or two) to continue building your organization's float or to help you stay up studying for that test.

7:00 p.m.  Mr. Big Chief (Burg Center)
Don't miss DBU's most popular and established Homecoming tradition – Mr. Big Chief. A male contest, in which the contestants compete in three hilarious divisions: swimwear (conservative and tasteful, of course!), talent, and formalwear, all for the coveted title.
 
Friday, November 16, 2018
6:30 p.m.  Alumni Dinner (Mahler Student Center – Great Hall)
Join us for dinner in the Great Hall to reconnect with DBU Alumni and learn how to stay in contact with what is happening on University Hill. During this time, we will recognize the 2018 DBU Honorary and Distinguished Alumni. The 2018 Distinguished Alumnus Award will be presented to Travis Whitfill. The 2018 Honorary Alumnus Award will be presented to Dr. Aaron Fletcher.
Note: Dress business casual.
 
8:15 p.m.  Patriot Rally (The Quad)
Join the DBU Spirit as they kick off the Patriot Rally on Friday evening! Students and alumni will join together for a spirit-filled event followed by coffee and dessert in the alumni tent.
 
8:30 p.m.  President's Alumni Reception (Alumni Tent on The Quad)
Come fellowship in the Alumni tent with former classmates, teammates, and friends while enjoying coffee and dessert!
 
Saturday, November 17, 2018
2:00 p.m.  Organizational and Group Meetings (Various Locations)
 
3:00 p.m.  Homecoming Parade (Pilgrim Chapel to the Burg Center)
Join DBU Spirit as they lead the DBU Basketball team, this year's Homecoming Court, Greek Life, and University organization floats as they march in this year's Homecoming Parade. The parade will begin in front of Pilgrim Chapel and head east on Patriot Parkway concluding just in front of the Burg Center. Following the parade, alumni and their families are invited to enjoy the Homecoming Tailgate in Lot 14, just south of the Burg Center.
 
3:15 p.m.  Homecoming Tailgate (Lot 14)
Fun for all ages! Enjoy live music, great food, and a carnival-like environment as you get fueled to cheer on the Patriots to a victory! In addition, meet your former classmates in the exclusive alumni tent, featuring a lounge area with a coffee bar and desserts (Lot 14).
 
6:00 p.m.  DBU vs. Ouachita Baptist University Basketball Game (Burg Center)
Cheer on the Patriots to victory and find out who will be this year's Homecoming King and Queen during DBU's halftime show.
 
8:00 p.m.  Bonfire Bash (Lot 4)
Come join students at the Bonfire Bash as we conclude the Homecoming weekend festivities!
