COUNTDOWN TO TIP-OFF
The DBU Men's Basketball team hits the road to face Northeastern State after falling to Cameron in a nail-biter Tuesday evening. DBU held the lead for 26 minutes and shot six more three-pointers than Cameron, but the Aggies outlasted the Patriots while shooting 43.4 percent from the field.

Chandler Jacobs hit a contested lay-up with 15.8 seconds remaining to put the Patriots up 78-76. Cameron guard Tyus Momoh drove the lane and made a lay-up with 6.8 seconds to go in the half. A foul was called on the shot, which led to Momoh hitting the free throw that put Cameron ahead 79-78, which held to be the final score.

Harris led the Patriots with a game-high 18 points, while Conner Lidiak posted 17 of his own. Chandler Jacobs added 15 points while Julian Miranda recorded 12 points.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
- The Patriots are shooting 49 percent from the field as a team, and 42 percent from three point range

- DBU averages 87.8 points per game as a team, while opponents are averaging 78.4 points per game.

- JT Harris leads the Patriots in scoring at 16.8 points per game and has had single-game totals of 20 and 19 points. 

- Four Patriots average double figures - Harris (16.8), Chandler Jacobs (13.2), Carson Hughes (12.5) and Julian Miranda (10.5).

SCOUTING NORTHEASTERN STATE
- The RiverHawks are 3-0 at home the first time since the 2013-14 season.

- Northeastern State had double-digit leads in all four games this season

- Tanner Mouse is leading the RiverHawks in scoring with 17.8 points a game, and is shooting 52.5-percent from the field. 

- Caleb Smith is second on the NSU roster with 14.8 points a game and has 4.3 assists per outing.- Northeastern State is third in the MIAA in field-goal percentage at 47.5-percent.

ALL-TIME SERIES
DBU is 3-0 all-time against NSU. Both wins came last season, with the Patriots winning 80-65 on Dec. 30.
