COUNTDOWN TO TIP-OFF
DBU hosts an inaugural game against Southwestern Adventist on Tuesday evening inside the Burg Center. The Patriots took down Texas A&M International on Saturday 84-64 while
Carson Hughes posted 25 points while shooting 54 percent from beyond the arc, which included a huge three-point shot and the foul that captured momentum late in the first half.
DBU outscored Texas A&M International by going on a 19-0 run from the 16 minute mark until 13:44 remaining in the second half to pull away with an 84-64 win.
PATRIOT STORYLINES
- DBU has won 28 consecutive games at home and is 43-6 at the Burg Center over the past three seasons.
- DBU averages 8.5 steals per game, ranking the Patriots second in the Heartland Conference.
