The Lady Patriots (4-3) defeated Mississippi College 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-16) in their third game of the Reddie-Tiger Challenge on Saturday afternoon inside the Duke Wells Center. Sophomore
Brooke Clark led DBU with 13 kills, while senior
Kasey Holand posted seven blocks and seven kills of her own. Junior
Strealy Sizelove recorded 11 digs and 18 assists, while senior Meri Perry dished 12 assists of her own.
DBU pulled ahead early, but Mississippi rallied, tying the score at six all. The Lady Patriots went on a 10-2 run making the score 16-8 heading into a Lady Choctaw timeout. DBU would not trail again as senior

Emma Eakin each had a kill in the final two points pushing DBU to a 25-15 win in the opening set.
In the second set, DBU took control after the first point and never trailed again. The Lady Patriots extended their lead to 11 up 23-12, and steadily traded blows with the Lady Choctaws. Junior
Strealy Sizelove and Senior
Lauren Nicks each added a service ace, while Sophomore
Brooke Clark added a trio of kills in a dominating set win, 25-16.
DBU controlled the third set throughout, only trailing 1-0. The Lady Patriots ended the set on a 6-3 run defeating the Lady Choctaws 25-16.
