The DBU Men's Soccer team dropped a Heartland Conference match to Lubbock Christian 3-0 Thursday night at Patriot Soccer Field. The Patriots (2-4-1, 0-3-0 Heartland Conference) were held without a shot on goal as the Chaps (4-1-1, 2-0-1) pulled away with two late goals.
Lubbock Christian struck first with a goal in the 20th minute, but DBU held strong, limiting LCU to five shots on goal and the lone tally for the game's first 86 minutes. Â The Chaps scored twice in a span of 38 seconds to pad their lead to three by game's end.
