THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss at Newman on Thursday in Wichita, Kansas. The Patriots (3-5-1, 1-4-0 Heartland Conference) only recorded one shot on goal as the Jets (4-5-0, 1-4-0) picked up their first conference win of the year.
Newman did its damage in the middle of the game, with all three of its goals coming within a 22-minute stretch that ended shortly after halftime, building up to a 3-0 lead that it would retain the rest of the night.
