Patriots Roll Past Rogers State with 30-Point Win

THE RUNDOWN
DBU extended its home winning streak to 31 games, and is now 46-6 over the past three seasons with a 93-63 win over Rogers State inside the Burg Center. The win moves DBU to 3-1 in conference play and 10-6 overall on the season.

DBU lead 64-42 with 13:24 remaining after a Conner Lidiak three-pointer forcing Rogers State into a timeout. The Patriots held the Hillcats at bay the rest of the contest to win by 30. The Patriots shot 60 percent from the floor in the first half and 50 percent in the second half, good for 55 percent on the day. DBU was one shot shy of tying their season high in three-pointers with 14.

The Patriots had six in double figures, with Zach Lord leading the way with a team-high 15 points, while Chandler Jacobs had 14 of his own. JT Harris had 13 points and seven rebounds, while Jonathyn Washington continued his double-digit scoring streak with 13. Carson Hughes added 12 on 3-5 from beyond the arc, and Conner Lidiak added 12 points, shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc.
