THE RUNDOWN
DBU erupted for 44 points in the second half in a 100-87 win over Heartland Conference opponent Oklahoma Christian. The Patriots (13-6, 5-1) made 15 of 30 shot attempts in the second half. OCU (6-11, 1-5) cut the lead to one point, but DBU never trailed throughout the contest. The win marks the Patriots 33rd in a row at the Burg Center, and fourth straight win on the season.
The Patriots kept the Eagles at bay throughout the game despite a few furious scoring runs by the Eagles. Senior Jordan Box led OCU with 17 points on 7-16 shooting. DBU shot 57 percent from the floor for the contest, and went 13-15 from beyond the arc.
JT Harris led the Patriots with a team-high 18 points, while
Chandler Jacobs followed closely behind with 17 points on 6-13 shooting.
Jordan Manse poured in 14 points of his own hitting a team-high of four three-point baskets.
Zach Lord chipped in 13 points and posted five rebounds.
Carson Hughes and
Jonathyn Washington rounded out the Patriots in double-digits with 12 points while Hughes went 4-4 from the field.
