COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF
Last time out, the DBU Women's Soccer team earned its eleventh straight victory of the season Saturday afternoon in a 2-1 win over Texas A&M Commerce. The eleven game winning streak is the longest in program history. Three different Patriots (11-0-1, 8-0 Lone Star Conference) tallied a goal in the contest.
Jenna Patterson notched the first goal for DBU in the 25th minute. In the 52nd minute,
Kaci Parks scored from the foot of Patterson, who finished with a goal and an assist on the day. Kara Blasingame shortened the Patriot lead to one after she found the back of the net in the 61st minute. The Patriot defense prevailed for the remainder of the contest securing the win for DBU.
