Patriots Fall in San Antonio, 3-2

THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Soccer team fell 3-2 to St. Mary's in a Thursday evening Lone Star Conference match. The Patriots (2-6) scored in the 84th minute on the foot of Brandon Torres, but could not find the equalizer to send the game into extra time.

In the 4th minute, Ollie Wright notched the first goal for the Rattlers on a penalty kick. DBU answered with a goal of their own from Abraham Garcia in the 6th minute to tie things up at 1-1.

St. Mary's scored the go-ahead goal in the 33rd minute to make the score 2-1, and then again in the 69th minute from the foot of Carlos Blasco. Torres goal brought the Patriots within one, but the Rattlers held on taking the 3-2 victory.
