The DBU Women's Soccer team earned its sixth victory of the season Thursday night in a 4-0 win over UT Permian Basin in Odessa. Five different Patriots (6-0-1, 3-0 Lone Star Conference) tallied a goal in the contest.
Emmy Niece scored the first goal in the 15th minute on a penalty kick. The Patriots increased their lead to two before the half, as Alondra finished an assist from
Jayme Woodfill.
Kaci Parks logged a goal in the 29th minute from
Melissa Jones, and
Jayme Woodfill added the fourth of the night for the Patriots in the 38th minute.
Jenna Patterson scored in the 64th and 68th minutes making the score 6-0, sealing the win.
THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
 - Patterson recorded her first career two-goal game.
 - The Patriots scored six in a game for the first time all season, the most since October 21, 2017 versus Oklahoma Christian.
 - With the win,
Hope Koym now has two clean sheets on the season.
