The DBU Baseball team traveled to Matanzas, Cuba, on Tuesday, where they began the afternoon with their third and final game of their trip.  Playing at Estadio Victoria de Giron, the Patriots defeated the provincial team from Matanzas by a score of 5-2.  The victory gave DBU a clean sweep of the Cuban teams that they faced during their stay.

Following their game, the Patriots held a clinic for the youth from Matanzas.  The team split up into two groups, with one group working with 10-14 year olds, while another group instructed 15-18 year old players.  Various stations were set up, as players and coaches from DBU gave instruction on fielding, hitting, pitching, and catching.

At the conclusion of the clinic, DBU Head Baseball Coach Dan Heefner spoke to the entire group and senior Andres Sosa then shared his personal testimony.

The Patriots conclude their trip to Cuba on Wednesday when the team visits a church in Matanzas.

Due to wifi connectivity issues, a video recap of Tuesday's events were note able to be posted and will hopefully be posted on Wednesday.  To follow the the team's final day in Cuba, follow the Patriots on twitter @DBU_Baseball.
