No. 10 Ranked DBU returned to the win column versus UT Tyler by a score of 69-60 Saturday afternoon. The Patriots (10-1, 4-1) course corrected following Thursday's loss to A&M-Commerce with much improved rebounding and foul shooting performances to end the calendar year with momentum.Â

DBU was laser focused defensively, communicating through switches and collapsing to the basketball on every possession.  The Patriots shot an efficient 51 percent from the field, taking advantage of UT Tyler fouls by forcing them into the bonus just seven minutes into the second half.Â

Chandler Jacobs returned to form offensively, scoring a game high 21 points on a sizzling 75 percent shooting from behind the arc.
Carter Brown added 11 points on an efficient 80 percent shooting, while
Conner Lidiak piled on 10 points of his own.
