THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Basketball team won its fifth consecutive game Thursday defeating Lubbock Christian 80-77 at the Burg Center. DBU was led by sophomore
Chandler Jacobs team-high 25 points. With 47 seconds left to play Jacobs stepped up and hit a deep three-pointer to give the Patriots the one-point advantage, 77-76.
Jordan Manse was then fouled after an LCU miss that put him at the line with just under 15 seconds in the ballgame. After knocking down a pair at the line, Jacobs grabbed a defensive rebound and was fouled with just over two seconds to play. Jacobs hit the first and missed the second, leaving an Isaac Asrat launch at the buzzer short, giving the Patriots the 80-77 win.

Jonathyn Washington and
Carter Brown scored 10 points each, while
