COUNTDOWN TO TIP-OFF
The Patriots continue conference play on the road as the Rogers State Hillcats play host to DBU. Last time out, following a back-and-forth second half, the DBU Basketball team pulled away from St. Mary's with a 7-0 run in the final 91 seconds of overtime to defeat St. Mary's 84-79. Conner Lidiak's three from the corner with 1:31 to play in overtime snapped a 77-77 tie, and Chandler Jacobs followed with a layup, a blocked three-pointer, and a dunk to seal the win for the Patriots (15-7, 7-2 Heartland Conference).

St. Mary's (10-11, 2-7) led for most of regulation, spending nearly two-thirds of the game in front. A 7-0 run by DBU from 11:08 to 8:51 in the second half erased a Rattler lead and kicked off a stretch of close basketball that saw six ties and two lead changes the rest of regulation.
