THE LEAD
DBU defeated Southern Nazarene 3-2 on Tuesday night in Bethany, Oklahoma. In front of a crowd of 250, freshman defender
Austin Meza drilled the games first goal putting DBU up 1-0 in the 7th minute.
Southern Nazarene answered back with a goal of their own from Sergio Diaz in the 25th minute.
In the 76th minute,
Jonathan Macias scored on a penalty kick followed by
Abraham Garcia's goal just a minute later giving DBU the commanding 3-1 lead.
Tristen Olvera faced 11 shots and earned his first win of the 2019 season.
