The DBU Women's Soccer team earned its first Lone Star Conference victory of the season Thursday in a 2-0 win versus Oklahoma Christian at Patriot Field on the campus of DBU. The Patriots (4-0-1, 1-0) opened the scoring in the 46th minute and never looked back to complete the match.

Abigail Olmos who buried a shot into the net for her first goal of the year at the 46th minute mark. Shortly after,
Kaci Parks was assisted by
Gabrielle Heller to find the back of the net putting DBU up 2-0 on the Eagles. The Patriots dominated possession throughout the duration of the match.
Hope Koym stopped both Eagle shots on goal to earn the shutout in her fifth start of the season.Â
