Patriots Drop Home Opener 1-0 to Dixie State

THE RUNDOWN

The Trailblazers (1-1) put just four shots on goal all night, converting one with less than 20 minutes to play before halftime for the game's only score.

The Patriots held the Trailblazers to eight total shots, but Dixie State withstood several second-half barrages from the Patriots to pick up its first win of the year.
