2018 IN REVIEW
The Patriots began 2018 with a solid two-game start to a season tying Ouachita Baptist then defeating Southwestern Assemblies of God. DBU looks to build on last season with a bevy of newcomers who will be led by a core group of veterans.

DBU returns their second leading scorer in David Velazquez, who returns for his junior season after pacing DBU with five points as a sophomore in 2017. Also returning is Ethan Martinez who led the team in shots (35) last season.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
 - 22 of the 37 players on the Patriot roster are newcomers to the DBU program.

 - Abraham Garcia and Ethan Martinez combined for two goals and 22 shots on goal last season.

 - Tristen Olvera returns in net for DBU, and looks to be a key contributor after logging 1,018 minutes in 2018.

 - The Patriots have not lost a home opener since 2013.
