The NCAA recently published the Division I 2019-2020 Academic Progress Rates (APR) for all member institutions. Patriot Baseball achieved an overall APR rating of 97 points out of a possible 99. DBU Baseball student-athletes continue the tradition of academic success by making this the highest ever APR rating in program history.

The Academic Progress Rate (APR) is the combination percentage of academic eligibility, retention percentage, and graduation rates of Patriot student-athletes during their time on University Hill. Points are earned by student-athletes remaining academically eligible, returning to DBU year after year, and graduating upon their degree completion.
 
DBU Director of Athletics Connor Smith had this to say about the APR Report - "I couldn't be more proud of our program, the coaching staff, and our student-athletes for this accomplishment and their continued commitment to academic excellence."
