THE RUNDOWN
DBU (16-5, 9-5) cruised over Cameron, 120-75 Thursday night in front of an electric crowd at the Burg Center. The Patriots went absolutely nuclear in the 45-point victory, picking up a critical conference win while ending a two-game losing skid at home.
 
In a contest in which they never trailed, the Patriots came out aggressive on both ends of the floor. DBU scorched the Aggies by shooting 64 percent from the field. On the defensive end, DBU punished Cameron for the slightest offensive error with 12 steals and 34 points off turnovers.
 
Chandler Jacobs ignited DBU's offensive explosion. The junior guard poured in a season-high 32 points on a career-high five three pointers to surpass Eddie Gloviak for fifth place on the all-time scoring list.  
Julian Miranda gathered a season-high five boards while adding 12 points of his own. Carter Brown was aggressive on the offensive end, piling in 14 points while shooting a sizziling 75 percent.

-DBU's 120-point performance is the program's highest offensive output since January of 2017.

We thought if we could secure rebounds then we could have transition points and I think we did a good job of that tonight."
