THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Men's Tennis team opened their fall season on the road in Odessa, Texas. The team faced two days of competition from UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico at the UTPB Fall Invitational.Â
The doubles team of Josh Williams and Gabe Garrido had an outstanding weekend beating out every opponent to go undefeated. Williams kept the same momentum to go undefeated in singles. Redshirt sophomore Joshua Ramos and redshirt freshman Aaron Capone also went undefeated in singles play.Â
QUOTE FROM HEAD COACH WADE MORGAN ON THE SEASON OPENER
"The guys looked good this weekend especially in doubles play, we still have things we need to improve on in singles, especially mentally, but it was nice to see some competition and expose some things that need improvement."
