For the second straight night, DBU (0-4) fell to A&M-Commerce (2-0) in match that went the full five sets. Led by
Bailey Hebert, who totaled a team-high 14 kills, the Lady Patriots were not able to outlast the Lions, dropping the fifth and deciding set, 15-4.
Looking to respond from a five-set loss on Tuesday, DBU seized the first set with a 25-20 win. A&M-Commerce returned the favor with a 25-20 win of their own in the second set.Â
After falling behind 2-1 with a 25-21 defeat in the third set, DBU responded with a dominant 25-13 victory in set #4.Â
In the fifth and final set, the Lady Patriots fell behind from the start and were not able to recover as Commerce led wire-to-wire to close out a 3-2 win.
