THE RUNDOWN
The Lady Patriots closed their weekend action with a 1-1 split against Midwestern State and the University of the Southwest. DBU fell to MSU, 1-6, before bouncing back with a resounding 7-0 win over USW. 

Adrianna Carpenter led the Patriots from the line 3 singles spot, as she clinched wins against both the Mustangs of Midwestern State and the Mustangs of the Southwest. The Lady Patriots were firing on all cylinders versus USW, as DBU earned its fifth shutout through its first 10 games to improve to 8-2 on the season.

The Lady Patriots have a quick turnaround as they head to Durant, Oklahoma, to square off versus Southeastern Oklahoma State and Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday, March 23.
