The Lady Patriots (20-5, 11-2 LSC) lost via straight-sets at the hands of the St. Edward's Hilltoppers (9-16, 6-8 LSC) in Austin. For the first time this season, DBU has dropped consecutive matches.

Â
The flame from the first frame did not die for the Hilltoppers as they started the second set with a 9-3 stretch.
