The DBU Baseball team announced their schedule for the 2024 season on Friday. Featured on this year's 54-game schedule are 31 home dates at Horner Ballpark, including the season-opening series versus Southeast Missouri on February 16-18.

DBU's 2024 schedule consists of 12 games versus opponents that advanced to the postseason in 2023. Among the eight teams that reached last year's NCAA Tournament are Alabama, Arizona, Indiana, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Sam Houston State, and TCU. The Patriots will also play in the Frisco College Baseball Classic March 1-3 at Riders Field in Frisco, Texas, where they will face Arizona, Indiana, and Alabama.

After winning the Conference USA regular season title in their first year in the league, DBU opens their CUSA schedule at Sam Houston (March 22-24). One week later, New Mexico State comes to Horner Ballpark for the Patriots' first conference home series. DBU will also face CUSA foes Louisiana Tech (April 19-21), Jacksonville State (May 3-5), and Liberty (May 10-12) at home. The Patriots will make road trips in league play to Western Kentucky (April 5-7), Florida International (April 26-28), and Middle Tennessee (May 16-18).

DBU's non-conference home schedule will feature weekend series against Central Michigan (February 23-25), San Diego (March 8-10), and Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (March 15-17). The Patriots will also play host to Oklahoma (February 20), TCU (March 12), Baylor (April 9), Stephen F. Austin (April 30), and UT Arlington (May 7) in midweek action.

Following the regular season, DBU will compete in the Conference USA Tournament, hosted by Louisiana Tech, at J.C. Love Field in Ruston, Louisiana (May 22-26).
