COUNTDOWN TO TIP-OFF
DBU claimed an 80-69 win over UT Tyler on Senior Day at the Burg Center on Thursday night. Ricky Lujan scored a season-high 26 points to lead the Patriots to a win in the final home game of the regular-season. Trailing by eight points with just over 13 minutes left in the second half, DBU went on a 16-2 run to pull away from UTT.

The Patriots conclude the regular-season with a key road game at UT Tyler on Saturday. DBU needs a win or a Texas A&M International loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville to punch their ticket to the Lone Star Conference Tournament. As it stands, DBU could be anywhere from the No. 6 seed to the No. 8 seed if they qualify for the LSC Tournament next week in Frisco, Texas.
