PATRIOT STORYLINES
- DBU swept Austin Peay over the weekend to start the season 7-0. It is the best start the program has had in its Division I era.
- The Patriots are one of 12 remaining undefeated teams in the country. They are the only team in Conference USA without a loss on their record.
- The pitching staff for DBU has been outstanding, posting top-20 marks nationally in ERA (2.75), WHIP (1.02), K/9 (12.7), and K/BB (4.37).
- DBU starting pitching boasts a 1.32 ERA and 0.74 WHIP in 34.0 IP. The starters, Braxton Bragg, Ryan Johnson, Bryson Hammer, and Zach Heaton have registered 47 strikeouts while walking only 10 batters. Hammer and Heaton have yet to allow a run.
- The Patriot bullpen has struck out 37 opposing hitters and walked just nine. Kyle Amendt, Reece Beuter, Brady Rose, and Zane Russell have yet to surrender a run in eight combined appearances.
- DBU's offense has been equally as impressive, ranking in the top 25 nationally in eight offensive categories including stolen bases (28), sacrifice flies (6), scoring (11.0 runs per game), runs (77), slugging percentage (.588), batting average (.336), on-base percentage (.453), and doubles (19). They also lead C-USA in both home runs (12) and home runs per game (1.71).
- Both Tom Poole and Miguel Santos have hit three home runs. Santos is fifth in the country in both RBI (16) and RBI per game (2.29).
- Five Patriots are hitting better than .350, including Kodie Kolden (.525), Nate Rombach (.462), Grant Jay (.429), Nathan Humphreys (.360), and Miguel Santos (.355). Kolden's .525 clip paces C-USA.
- Of the players who have played in all seven games this season, all have an on-base percentage of at least .355. Additionally, eight of the nine regulars have batting averages of at least .250.

SCOUTING TCU
- TCU is coming off a series loss to Florida State over the weekend. The Seminoles took the first two games before the Horned Frogs salvaged the series on Sunday.
- The Horned Frogs have a record of 4-3 but have faced a Power Five program in six of their seven games, including games against then-ranked No. 10 Vanderbilt, No. 8 Arkansas, Missouri, and Florida State. TCU is 3-3 against those teams.
- The Horned Frogs offense owns a remarkable batting average of .311 and get on base at a rate of .430—both figures are second-best in the Big 12.
- Brayden Taylor has been the team's most impressive hitter, leading the club in batting average (.429), on-base percentage (.556), slugging percentage (.679), and on-base plus slugging percentage (1.235). He is also the only player on the team with multiple home runs.
- Braeden Sloan possesses the best ERA of Horned Frog pitchers who have made a start this year (2.70). In his first career start against UTA last Wednesday, the freshman lefty allowed one earned run in 3.1 innings.

SERIES HISTORY
Dating back to 1971, TCU holds a 47-31 lead in the all-time series. Since DBU joined the NCAA Division I ranks in 2004, the Horned Frogs have a loose hold of the series, 19-18. However, the Patriots have won five consecutive meetings and have not lost to TCU at Horner Ballpark since 2017.
