The DBU STUNT program was back in action this Sunday afternoon with an exciting and competitive game. The Patriots were up against the Saints from Maryville University with a final score of 15-11 in DBU's favor.

FINAL SCORE (DBU- 15 and Maryville University- 11)
Quarter 1 - Partner Stunts Score: 4-0 The Patriots came out with a confident energy that could not be matched. They called Routines 6 & 7 and executed them perfectly. DBU received all possible points in the first Quarter and did not let Maryville score any points.

Quarter 2 - Pyramids and Tosses Score: 6-3 The Maryville Saints did not like losing all 4 points in Quarter 1 and came back stronger in Quarter 2. The Saints received 3 out of 4 possible points, with the Patriots tying in Routine 6 and winning Routine 3.

Quarter 3 - Jumps and Tumbling Score: 8-6 Quarter 3 looked a lot like quarter 2, with Maryville trying their hardest to close the score gap. They scored 3 out of 4 possible points with DBU tying in Routine 6 and winning the point for Routine 3. The Saints could not completely close the gap, but got close.

Quarter 4 - Combination Routine Final Score: 15-11 In an incredibly intense final Quarter, DBU tried their best to continue to pull ahead of the Saints. The Patriots fought through small mistakes and kept going. This resilient attitude helped DBU finish the game strong and come out on top. This Quarter proved that the Patriots were the stronger team and deserved this big win.

"This win was such a huge accomplishment," said Captain Allison Gibson. "Having a team that can have fun and compete hard like today is incredible. I'm so proud of the growth we have had from beating Maryville in OT last year, to beating them by 4 points this year."
