OC took the lead early with a 5-0 run just under a minute into the half.  A Ricky Lujan jumper opened a DBU 5-0 run, giving the Patriots their first lead of the half; Trevor Frank capped it off with a steal and was finished off by a Jaden Shelvin layup. Using a DBU turnover, the Eagles were able to steal back the lead with a set of free throws and a Javon Grant layup.

The Eagles climbed back into the game and brought the score to a two-point deficit with a 7-1 run over three minutes. The Patriots quickly responded with a Frank three-pointer and a Lujan layup, ending the half with a 42-35 lead.

Early in the second half, OC cut the deficit to four, 45-41, with a 6-1 run. DBU responded with a 12-2 run of their own, forcing four OC turnovers over three minutes and extending their lead to 13. The Eagles' full-court pressure attempted to slow the Patriots down, but a 7-0 run capped off by a pair of Lujan layups gave DBU a 17-point lead.  A Deng Dut layup closed out the 88-71 win.
