DBU Bowling finished in 30
0th place this past weekend at the 2024 Mid-States Championships in Wichita, Kansas, the first of four Tier-1 tournaments on the Patriot schedule this season.
The Patriots started off Saturday with six team games of 777, 840, 835, 847, 705, and 781. On Saturday night, the Patriots were sitting in 29
9th place. Junior,
Paul Marquez, led the team, averaging 175 over the course of the six team games.
On Sunday, the Patriots fired off 16 baker games, averaging 160. Unfortunately, DBU was unable to gain any ground on the field, settling to 30
th place. Alongside the average leader from DBU on Saturday, the varsity lineup had contributions from Sophomores
Ryan Lira,
Trenton Wagner,
Justin Dirden,
Gael Ortiz, and Freshmen
Chase Walker,
JT Santos, and
Zack Wassam.
