The NCAA hosted the 2024 selection show on Monday, November 18 at 6 P.M., naming DBU the three-seed in the South-Central Region. Colorado School of Mines earned the top seed, followed by Angelo State in second. They will earn byes through the first rounds of the tournament and serve as hosts for the first-round matches. Four-seed Midwestern State and five-seed Colorado Mesa will face off at Colorado School of Mines and three-seed DBU and six-seed MSU Denver will meet at Angelo State.  

Angelo State, the second-seed and host of DBU's first-round match, will determine the date and time of their game against MSU Denver, choosing between Thursday or Friday. The winner of that match will face Angelo State in the second round.
