Their strategic approach and unwavering focus paid off, solidifying their spot in the upcoming 2024 Bassmaster National Championship. Reflecting on their achievement, Luke commented, "We knew we had to bring our A-game to this tournament. It's an honor to qualify for the National Championship and represent DBU on such a prestigious platform."

Not to be outdone, Hunter, a solo angler from the DBU Bass Fishing Team, showcased his exceptional skills, securing a commendable 24th place finish weighing 29-10 for his two-day total and an extraordinary comeback with his 17-1 bag on day 2. His perseverance and ability to adapt to changing conditions earned him a well-deserved qualification for the National Championship. Hunter expressed his excitement, saying, "Competing solo was a unique challenge, but I'm thrilled to have earned a spot in the National Championship. Overall, I'm blessed to be given this opportunity from DBU to compete in my last season solo, and couldn't be more grateful"
