Men’s Tennis Faces ETBU in Marshall on Tuesday

LAST TIME OUT
The DBU Men's Tennis team went 1-2 at the Arlington Tennis Center over the weekend. Splitting their two matches on Friday, the Patriots fell to Texas Wesleyan, 3-4, and defeated Texas A&M Texarkana, 4-3. The following day, DBU lost 2-5 to Southeastern Oklahoma.  

In doubles play, the Patriots went 5-4 over the weekend, headlined by Arturo Langle and Alec Rule, who swept all three of their weekend matches. 

Edgar Mayorga and Arturo Langle led the way for the Patriots after going 3-0 in singles play. Fabian Rosales also notched a mark in the win column in singles play. 


PATRIOT STORYLINES
- The Patriots return to action on Tuesday to face East Texas Baptist. 
- DBU is a combined 23-14 in singles play and owns a 10-7 mark in doubles.


SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
DBU will face East Texas Baptist on Tuesday. ETBU competes at the NCAA Division III level and is out to a 2-1 start this spring. The Patriots own the all-time series, going 6-0 against the Tigers since their first matchup on February 9, 2013.


UP NEXT
DBU will travel to Brownwood, Texas, on Thursday, where they will face Howard Payne.
